Counseling for Healthcare Providers and Caregivers in North Alabama
Every day, healthcare professionals, first responders, and caregivers bear the responsibilities of assisting others in need. My experience as a registered nurse gives me perspective into the unique challenges that these professionals face. I am passionate about helping caregivers manage their stress and empowering them to thrive and feel fulfilled in all areas of their lives.
Do you feel like you’re carrying too much?
Are you a healthcare provider that often finds yourself thinking: “isn’t this work supposed to be rewarding?” Maybe you found this page as a caregiver of a child or elder with special needs. Your role demands a lot from you, and you may often find yourself feeling overwhelmed, anxious, irritable, or crying frequently. When you are struggling, it may negatively impact your life at home, work, and your relationships. It can also take a toll on you physically. Therapy can help you process difficult experiences, make sense of your emotions, assert boundaries, build resilience, and prevent burnout. This will help you feel more fulfilled personally and professionally.

While I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, I find cognitive behavioral therapy to be very effective. CBT equips individuals with skills to manage their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors by introducing practical tools you can use long after your sessions end to manage future challenges.

Hi, I’m Stacey
ABOUT ME
I am an Associate Licensed Counselor in the state of Alabama under the supervision of Louisa DiLeone, LPC-S. I graduated from Liberty University with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2021. I am also a registered nurse and veteran. I worked with the United State Air Force for 11 years. I grew up in Northwest Pennsylvania, lived in Ohio for 12 years, and moved to North Alabama in 2017. I enjoy baking, spending time with my family, and the beach. My life experience has provided me with a passion for working with healthcare providers and caregivers. I often say that I may not have chosen counseling as a career, counseling chose me. I look forward to talking to you!
